Loving Lavender

essential oils / Thursday, July 16th, 2015

I have been using lavender in my yoga classes as a way to promote a sense of relaxation. I’ve diffused it, I’ve put it on eye pillows or warm/cool towels, or on my hands for the students to inhale. You can, however, use it for so much more! I have been using therapeutic-grade lavender on my hands to soothe peeling skin. I used it on Q the other day (with coconut oil as a carrier to help with toddler skin sensitivity) when she touched a hot pan and burned herself. You can use it on the back of the neck and at the temples to ease muscle tension.

If you have any questions or would like a sample of the essential oils I use (there are loads and they all help to promote a natural, healthy lifestyle!), please use the contact form and get in touch! I’d love to chat to you 🙂
